Well, I asked for info and I certainly got it.  Thank you to all who
replied!  Some great info there and great reasons to look into it
further.  I read all the replies, the link above, and parts of YNAB's
website.

I think we should look into developing an envelope budgeting extension
to MD.  I wonder if this is feasible.  Seems like it might be
complicated.  I wonder if Sean could comment on this idea--estimate of
complexity and capability.
