-----------------
Thanks Rodney.
I actually have the entire Sun Java 6 SDK installed. The gcj items are
strictly dependenciees that are peculiar to Debian. Sean & I had
communicated about this a while back & he told me about the gcj issue. I
followed his advice & the problem was corrected. I just recently decided
that I needed to upgrade my entire Debian system to accomodate some new
hardware. Within the updates was the installation of the Openoffice.org
dependencies that require the gcj installation. I did post a second item
that indicates that I got this fixed myself. Thanks for the advice
though!!
