Is it possible to transfer a security from one account to another? When
I first set up Moneydance I created separate accounts and securities for
each of my 401K holdings. Now I'd like to create an account named
something like My401K Funds and add my four separate securities to that
account. After creating the new account in Moneydance, I clicked on the
new account. It asked if I wanted to add securities. I clicked yes. I
then used the drop down list to select my 401K funds. The fund names are
now showing up in the new account, but none of the information in the
registers came with it.
Do I have to manually renter the information from the registers and then
delete the original accounts?
