[moneydance] Printing has stopped after update

A couple of other things that may help in diagnostics:

1. I have Freemind (http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page)
installed. It's also Java based. It won't print either.

2. Regarding the hotfix described here:
http://www.bastian-frank.de/site/front_content.php?idcat=13&idart=46.

This hotfix is supposed to deal with the following problem: "With Java SE 6 it
is not possible to print on Linux with CUPS to Non-Postscript printers. Java
applications find the printers and everything seems to work, but the jobs
never get printed.'

My printer is an HP OfficeJet 6310 All-in-One. It uses PCL and not postscript
to print. I print over a network.

The error that the hotfix says that I am supposed to find in
the /var/log/cups/error_log isn't there. Further, I don't know if Java
is "finding the printer" or not.

Again, my printer did fine with MD until very recently. That said,
Ghostscript, another possible culprit identified in this hotfix was also
updated recently.

I'm not a computer person. And I'm skittish about trying things like this
hotfix for fear of making things worse.

Does it make sense to you?
