One of the reasons that I purchased Moneydance was that it is open to third-party add-ons. I love it that the MD folks provided a way for users to create their own solutions if one was not already provided.
 
I can't help but notice that third-party development for MD is a little slow, though. It seems that there are only a few plug-ins available, and many of these have not been updated in months or years.
 
Maybe this could be attributed to the fact that MD is great software and doesn't need much improvement! Even so, I'm a little surprised at the lack of activity, especially considering the wide Linux user base. I'm just a little curious why this is. 
 
Any thoughts?
