[moneydance] Should I be root or user to install preview version 609?

The newly installed Moneydance 609 did not print at all.
I print with CUPS which normally works fine.

Java Version: 1.6.0_06
Java Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.

I sure wish this would get fixed.
