[moneydance] Should I be root or user to install preview version 609?

One of my daughter's friends watched me copy some jpegs from his camera
yesterday.  He was amazed I did it by typing. - mkdir, cd, cp,
"xv -geom 1000 PIC_039*" to scan photos 10 at a time to find the
right ones (the camera didn't have the date/time setup so "ls -l"
wasn't very helpful).

Only 4 xterms up at the moment.

Oh - I installed Moneydance as the superuser.
