No luck as yet Bruce.

I've fiddled around some changing settings but nothing has made a
difference. When I try to print a report from MD, a report file is
generated but nothing at all happens when I press the Print button. No
lights flash, no nuttin. /var/log/cups/access.log has no error reports.

Unfortunately, I can't copy and paste the report to a file for printing
because Java won't allow me to copy.

The only thing I can do is export it to a csv or html file which I
_guess_ could be printed but that's pretty cumbersome to have to do each
time.

Also I can highlight a section of my MD register (say 10 lines) but MD
won't let me copy it with either the Edit tab or ^c.

I downloaded Robby Workman's suggestions. I a large install file
designed for Slackware with no indication inside of what version it
installs or what it will do. I don't want to bork my system over this.

If you could find a place for your jre tarball I'll give that a try.

Frustration!

Larry
