Don't you just love our delightful tax schedule?

You could set it up for every three months starting in March, and then for
the March and December reminders, just ignore it for a month. That sort of
defeats the purpose of reminders though.

I think I would set up separate reminders in preference to changing the
date on a single reminder. I'd forget to change it.

I actually don't count on the MD reminders for income tax payments. Perhaps
I should, but I use a different category for each year, since (for example)
I pay taxes for 2008 from April 2008 through April 2009, and possibly later
if the IRS disagrees with my accountant. As a result, I cannot count on
date restrictions to report on what I've already paid for a given year. So
if I had annual reminders, I would have to change the category on every
use. And I would forget ...

As an experiment, I've just set up "general" reminders for my estimated tax
payment. I don't generally use "general" MD reminders. We'll see if it
helps. Part of the problem with taxes, though, is that I need to be
planning three months in advance, so just being reminded a couple of weeks
ahead doesn't help much.
