[moneydance] Spliting transactions

Should not be related to being the trial version. What OS are you running? 
What version of Java?

Once the split window is open, you should be able to adjust the width of 
the columns by clicking and dragging the boundary between column headings. 
Does this work? If so, does the change persist into the next transaction, 
and after qutting the relaunching MD?

Vic mentioned resizing the window, but in the splits window (unlike some 
other MD windows), the columns do not automatically adjust when you resize 
the entire window. You have to make the window large enough and then adjust 
the column widths.
