Under Windows, maximizing a window does not change its size.  Sounds
silly, right?  But if you un-maximize the window, it goes back to the
size it was.  And it is that original size that Moneydance remembers.

Instead of maximizing the window, drag the edges of the window out to
where it is the size that you want, even if that covers the whole
screen.  Then Moneydance will remember that size every time.
