[moneydance] Net Worth Status Graph

Greetings from Canada:

Can someone please explain the relevance of the Net Worth Graph and  
amount on top of the Home Page?  The $ amount does not agree with the  
Net Worth at bottom nor on the Net Worth Report.  Clicking on  This  
month, This year or All dates doesn't appear to show any variations.

I'm obviously missing something and would appreciate guidance.
