Perhaps these settings have not been removed, but have been merely moved
somewhere else.  One of the disadvantages in the old version that I run
is that these settings are global.  If you have two different banks that
need two different OFX App ID settings, then you can only make one of
them work at a time.  So, perhaps Sean moved these to settings within
each connection, somewhere.  But I do not have a newer version to go
looking with.

If I were in your position, as a last resort, I would export my file as
XML, and then go examine the XML for my account to see if there is an
App ID setting that can be tweaked.
