I keep receipts which I might need for returns, exchanges, business 
expenses, or taxes. These are in a disorganized pile except for the 
few (mainly airline) which are electronic and go in a business 
expenses folder. My utility bill has just started coming 
electronically, so I have a folder for that one.

I keep credit card and bank statements. These are now all electronic 
except for one. I keep them in an encrypted PGPdisk, which is 
normally not open, so a link from MD would not work.

I have quite a pile of old credit card and bank statements which I 
will probably scan so I can discard the paper. However, I don't plan 
to organize them much better than now. I've probably had to refer to 
an old statement, not available online, maybe a dozen times in the 
past couple of decades, so the time to organize would not be well 
spent. I will use scanner software which enables me to just stand at 
the scanner, put paper on it, punch button, repeat.

All other bills get discarded once paid.

Needless to say, I look at this feature request and say wow, 
obviously some people would have a use for it ... but I'm not the 
target demographic.
