I use Moneydance and I use a Palm, but I don't know of any way that
they talk to one another.
The main thing I would find the Palm useful for would be entering cash
transactions when I'm out and about and being able to read them into
Moneydance when I'm home (or upload them if I ever bother to get a
Palm that has internet access). For that, a simple Palm spreadsheet
would suffice -- I imagine I could save a comma-separated text file
version of the transactions and then import it into Moneydance. But
it's never been important enough to me to make it to the top of my
todo list.
