good suggestion gordon.... but i have an unfortunate result
i saved a copy of my MD data file on my desktop and i did this test on
both the MD files (desktop and .mac cloud) independently....
- i waited for all the scripts (stock downloaders, fx etc)
- i then just started scrolling though one of my accounts with a lot
of transactions and waited to see if MD would freeze.
in the two trials with MD (locally stored) i was able to replicate a
freeze twice
- about 3-4 minutes into the scrolling MD froze for about 10 sec
- i let MD sit around for 5 minutes, and 30 seconds into scrolling
this time, again MD froze for about 10 sec.
i did one trial with MD (cloud .mac stored) and i was able to
replicate a freeze.
- about 4 minutes into scrolling MD froze for 10 sec
i was sure your suggestion that read/write to/from the cloud might be
the problem.... but it appears not. illl try this again when i have
more time.
