[moneydance] How to run an account in a separate file?

1. Think issue that's confusing is using the term 'account' to mean both
file and accounting account (asset/liabily).  And when you / me .. use
account instead of category for income/expense - its gets more confusing !!

2. suggest that you start a new temp test MD file - to see how the text file
import works. I too wasted a bunch of time at first trying to find
documentation, but when you try it - you'll see what you need to line up the
fields for accurate importing.


I regularly use it to import a months worth of deposits for two business -
the spread sheet has the cash,visa,american express, discover breakdown - so
it can be done.
