But you can create and use a Cash account for each Financial Account. I
have been doing that for many years. They won't be linked but I haven't
found that to be a serious deterrent. Buys, sells and dividends are are
transfers to and from the associated Account. Your Portfolio summary
will not include the cash amount, but you will know what it is.

When I started using MD, I just started fresh and kept my old Quicken
files on an old laptop., but I have not had reason to look at them for
several years. In 2004, importing .qif files did not work as well as it
does now. I don't know if you can transfer your 'Money' cash account to
a cash [Bank} account in MD never having used that program.

Realize this prog will not work the way Money does. It is based more on a
true accounting system. However, over a few years you should save quite a
few dollars since our leader is very generous with our free program
updates.

Good luck
