[moneydance] Can't install on MoneyDance on Ubuntu

I run it on Ubuntu every day without issue.  What errors do the 
installation throw?  A few years back, I had to turn of desktop effects 
to get things to work.

Give me a little more detail on the error, and I am sure I can talk you 
through it.
