Thank you for your reply, Andy.
Here is what I have done....
I made sure to start Moneydance as Administrator.
Exported MS Money File: "Loose QIF."
Save in: Moneydance...In file name box: Wells Fargo Checking, as in MS
Money.....then export: "regular".....Which money acct to export: Wells Fargo
Checking....Continue...Export complete.
Opened Moneydance...Chose Import File (on bottom) ....Then choose QIF file
to import....Look in: Moneydance.....File name: Wells Fargo Checking....Then
"open'
In import QIF file window....From:C:\ProgramFiles(86)Moneydance/Wells Fargo
Checking.
Next window: "Existing account" is grayed out. So I selected "new
account"....Source: From another program....and import account info only.
Then click ok and then I get the dreaded error message again....Error:
Cannot read file: C:\Program Files(86)Moneydance/Wells Fargo Checking.
I have tried different "From QIF files" but nothing seems to work. I never
get any further than to this point and just can't figure out what I'm doing
wrong. I hope that I was able to explain my problem adequately and hope that
you have a suggestion for me.
Again, thanks for your help so far. Ann
