[moneydance] OFX file import

I'm evaluating Moneydance, it's been great so far but have run into a 
show stopper.

I downloaded an OFX file from my bank's website for my loan account but 
I can't find a way to upload it into Moneydance.

When I try importing my loan account is not in the list of accounts to 
import to. I can't create my loan as a bank account because then the 
positive liability amount will show as an asset.

Please help as I'm ready to give up my search for a decent persfin software.
