[moneydance] Check numbers

Greetings!

I¹m taking Moneydance for a test run and am having a problem with check
numbers.

I¹ve imported from Quicken just fine and am now entering transactions I have
fallen behind on. Everything is great except the auto-check number <Next
Check#> entry is giving me a hard time. It continues to revert to #1 even
though I have entered a current check number of 9500. The number reverts to
#1 again.

I tried a couple of test entries letting the #1 remain in the box, then
entering another test entry and using the + sign to increase the check#,
again reverts to #1.

I¹m going to be pulling my grey hairs out soon if I do not come across the
solution...

So far I think Moneydance is great but for the one check # glitch.
