[moneydance] Check numbers

Thanks David,
I followed Bruce's procedure a number of times. I've tried entering the
transaction and File>Save before and after finalizing the transaction. I've
shut the program down and restarted, created dummy accounts starting with
check number one and I even removed the MD data file from the computer to a
removable USB drive (for safe storage) and started over by re-importing my
QIF.
I suppose I could toss the program and re-install, but I have my doubts I've
had the program installed and used long enough to cause any corruption.
I'm using a G4 1.25Mhz PowerPC Mac running 10.5.6 and am religious about
keeping everything updated, virus free and backed up.
I'll see check number one in my sleep if I don't take a break for a half
hour or so...
I do really like the look and feel of Moneydance (A lot!), but am getting
tired of seeing #1. However, I do not give up easily...
