[moneydance] saving moneydance

I am going to be moving Ubuntu from a Wubi installation to a separate
partition on the hard drive.  Am I correct in assuming that if make a
current back up of the data and copy the Moneydance file that is in my
Home Folder to an external hard drive, I can drag it into the
partitioned Ubuntu after the new install and it will work?
