I am not aware of BofA changing the FITID for transactions, but it certainly
is possible. I did spend some time studying Moneydance to see if there were
flaws in how it handled the FITID for transaction matching, but could not
find any. "Garbage in, garbage out" - if the bank gives us "garbage" by
changing a supposedly-unchangeable FITID, there is not much we can do about
it.
